Caritas Construction Recognized Among Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2023 Best Places to Work

Caritas Construction has been recognized as a finalist in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2023 Best Places to Work. This year’s list includes 96 companies from across the region, ranked by employee feedback. On July 28, Caritas Construction will be featured in a special Philadelphia Business Journal publication.
Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Greater Philadelphia employees. The ranking found companies in the region whose employees rate them as the highest on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, and other amenities as well as management practices. The survey measures each company’s culture and takes into consideration compensation, benefits, and trust in senior leadership.

They spent the day packing and distributing essential supplies to be donated to families in need. Items included basic health necessities like diapers, formula, and menstrual products. 🚼💌 Did you know that many families struggle to afford these items which can have a significant impact on their health and well-being?

Dare Business Network Raises Money for Reed’s Farm, a Non-Profit Organization tackling food insecurity in New Jersey

The Dare Business Network's fundraising event held last Friday at Stephen Cookie's in Margate, NJ, was an incredible success! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing fellow Business Network members, VISSI Architecture + Design, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, and Dare Commercial Services, LLC, we were able to raise over $1,600 for Reed's Farm. Reed's Farm is a non-profit organization tackling food insecurity, soil regeneration, and community inclusiveness in Atlantic County, NJ. 🌾🍅🥕
It's truly humbling to see the power of coming together for a common cause. This support will enable Reed's Farm to continue its incredible work, ensuring that no one in our community has to go to bed hungry. Moreover, they focus on regenerating our environment and promoting inclusiveness through sustainable farming practices. 🌱🌍

We are happy to announce that the Caritas team has expanded with a new Senior Project Manager, Michael Callahan. Mick has been in the industry for over 25 years with extensive experience in mid to highrise structural steel buildings for student housing, hospitality, multifamily and commercial buildings. Since his arrival, he has played an integral part in the management of several of our larger projects and we could not be happier. Welcome to the team, Mick!

Caritas Spends Valentines Day Volunteering at City Team.

In honor of love, our team spent Valentine's Day volunteering at CityTeam Chester, PA by helping to organize donations and supplies. City Team is a national organization that offers help and hope to those in need by providing hot meals, groceries, shelter, housing, learning and career help, Bible studies, and so much more. Caritas Gives Back to Missionaries of Charity. Saint Teresa of Calcutta’s Order of Nuns.

130 families in Chester, PA will have Thanksgiving turkey this year thanks to the Missionaries of Charity in Saint Mother Teresa's Order of Nuns. This week, our team partnered with the students of the Holy Family School to gather and deliver food for the sisters. We would like to thank everyone involved and hope that no matter how you spend your holiday this year, it's a great one.
As we spend this week reflecting on everything we are thankful for, Caritas Construction would like to take the time to thank our clients, partners, and most importantly, our team for the hard work, day in and day out to serve our clients and make Caritas Construction what it is today.
Caritas Gives Back to the Salvation Army.

This week our team spent three days away from work to paint several spaces at the Chester Salvation Army Social Services Center. This included several hallways, a cafeteria, and the center's day room where guests gather to watch tv, grab refreshments, or get away from the cold or heat. Thank you to Sherwin-Williams who donated the paint and to both the Caritas and Rendell Associates teams who took the time to help improve this impactful space.
